The Artist screening at the New York Film Festival on 14th October 2011 - TBT

The World Premiere of My Week With Marilyn held at the New York Film Festival
in 2011 and Eddie Redmayne was there to promote the film. He also attended a Q&A
alongside Michelle Williams and director Simon Curtis. During his time in New York
Eddie spent time with his friends Zoe Kazan and Paul Dano, attended the premiere
of Zoe's play 'We Live Here', and the screening of 'The Artist'. I didn't make post
about the latter yet, so here are a few photos from the event via hope72.tumblr.com

There are two Oscar winners on this photo. When it was taken they weren't yet, but since then

Michel Hazanavicius won the Best Achievement in Directing Award for 'The Artist in 2012,

and Eddie Redmayne won the Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role Award for

'The Theory of Everything' in 2015

Zürich Film Festival 2007 - Savage Grace (opening film not in competition)

Eddie Redmayne attended the red carpet pemiere of Savage Grace screened
as the opening film on 27th September at the 3. Zürich Film Festival.
He was filming Powder Blue back then (from Aug. 2007) this explains the hair.

Savage Grace was the opening film at the 3. ZFF

“Intense, one way to say it,” Eddie described the 2007 film from Tom Kalin.

“It did involve a bit of incest. A little murder.” The film told the story of heiress

and socialite Barbara Daly Baekeland (Moore) and her allegedly incestuous

relationship with her gay son (Redmayne), who eventually murdered his mother.

Despite the heavy material, Redmayne distinctively recalls how his fellow 2015

Oscar winner would keep the mood light while filming. “What’s amazing about

Julianne is she is so funny and so she’s not one of those actors that like takes

themselves into a room and gets into a zone,” he explained. “She’s talking to you…

I remember a talk show host in the U.K. called Jonathan Ross and we were

about to do like the most intense sort of hardcore murder scene and she was talking about Jonathan Ross. You could see Tom, the director, sort of over there going, ‘When do I call action?’ He would call action and she would just go straight into the scene and I would be going… still sort of talking about Jonathan Ross. I’d be like, ‘Oh, no, no, no, no.’ So she made it very easy, actually.”

Second Anniversary of my meeting with eddie

The day I finally met Eddie two years ago, was one of the bests in my life. :)

You can also spot how my profile pic was taken.

Our meeting with Eddie Redmayne after the press conference in Venice on 5th September 2015.

I was there with my Italian friends, and Eddie’s publicist took a photo of us with him.

The pictures above are captures from an Italian TV program about the festival.

The camera was far, that’s why the quality is not so good, but they captured,

when I gave him my short letter and he spoke to me afterwards.

Throwback - Eddie with fans at the Giffoni Film Festival on 26th July 2013

Eddie Redmayne met fans on the blue carpet of the festival. He was really nice with them, creating memorable

moments. I experienced the feeling two years ago in Venice. I was so excited, I couldn't stop grinning.

Luck had a helper in my case, Thanks to Cris, who runs Eddie Redmayne Italian blog on tumblr, and met

Eddie several times. She was there at GFF in 2013 too. You can see her on some photos and videos
