Remy Martin Breakthrough Award: Eddie Redmayne (source)
By Brett Leppard 04 September 13
It's hard to argue that the former face of Burberry has had a pretty stellar year. After testing the training wheels on his star vehicle with roles in My Week with Marilyn and Birdsong, his turn as Marius in Les Miserables opposite Amanda Seyfried catapulted him into international stardom - culminating in an all-singing performance at this year's Academy Awards. Next year chances are he'll be accepting an Oscar for his upcoming portrayal as Stephen Hawking in Theory of Everything. He's also got one hell of a sense of style - whether at the polo or on the red carpet, he never looks less than immaculate. In short, it's a very good time to be Eddie Redmayne - and it's only going to get better.

Adorable interview of Eddie saying he is “gagging” to meet Nick Grimshaw at the GQ Awards.
But that’s a lovely thing, I’m certainly treasuring it.

Taking place on 05 December 2013 at St Paul’s Church in Knightsbridge, one of London’s most iconic Victorian churches, Rainbow Trust’s traditional Christmas carols are a great way to get into the festive spirit.
Guests at this year’s carol concert will be treated to an appearance from the much acclaimed actor Eddie Redmayne, with further notable guests to be announced nearer to the time. Eddie, best known for his incredible performances in Oscar winning Les Misérables and My Week with Marilyn, will be doing a reading at Rainbow Trust’s annual carol concert for the second time this December, having previously read at the 2010 carol concert.
The charity, which supports families of children with a life threatening or terminal illness, wants people to join them on Thursday 05 December to welcome in the festive season.
This special carol concert, which will raise funds for Rainbow Trust, will once again be supported by Cheam School Choir. Concert goers are invited to soak up the atmosphere from 6:00pm with a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie.

Admission: £40 (book tickets in advance)
