Eddie Redmayne continued his winning streak by taking home the Cinema Vanguard Award at The Santa Barbara International Film Festival on Thursday. But this time round, the 33-year-old actor received the noted award alongside his equally talented co-star Felicity Jones...
'She is the greatest of dance partners, brilliantly talented, and stunningly intelligent,' the he told theWall Street Journal on Wednesday. And the pretty actress told the March edition of InStyle UK: 'We have very similar ways of working. New 'Reign of Jupiter' trailer, futurette, stills and posters published this week

Warner Bros. has released an extended three-minute trailer and a futurette for their upcoming sci-fi thriller Jupiter Ascending reveals more about the story, including why a young woman like Jupiter Jones (Mila Kunis) has been marked for death, and how one man (Eddie Redmayne) controls the entire fate of Earth....
In addition to this new trailer, Warner Bros. has released a gallery with over 50 new photos...(x)

Flickering Myth: Jupiter Ascending debuts at Sundance to negative response
In a somewhat strange decision by Warner Bros., last night saw the first public screening of the upcoming blockbuster Jupiter Ascending at the Sundance Film Festival, which was met with a muted reaction, reports Variety....
Neville Kiser, a Hollywood screenwriter...: “I actually liked it,” he said. “But the Sundance context is weird. There were so many people in the audience scoffing and sneering. They are forgetting they are watching a movie targeted primarily to teenage boys. I’m sure those 15-year-old boys, and hopefully girls, will like it.” Kiser also said that the film screening at Sundance probably hurt the film even more due to the highbrow nature of the festival....read more

So far, the 33-year-old who plays physicist Stephen Hawking in the critically-acclaimed, The Theory of Everything, has already scored a SAG and Golden Globe award for his lead role in the James Marsh-directed film.
“It’s the most extraordinary kind of — it’s like sort of an euphoric blur really,” he told On Air with Ryan Seacrest on Wednesday. “It’s very difficult [to describe]. I think I need to wait a few months or a year or two to look back on it and try to take it all in. But it’s been absolutely astonishing.” - See more

In his review of “The Theory of Everything,” the WSJ’s Joe Morgenstern called Redmayne’s performance brilliant. He wrote:
With a lesser actor in the role, “The Theory of Everything” might have been a story of disability and not a lot more. (Thanks to makeup, facial prosthetics and just plain skillful acting, Hawking on screen bears an eerie resemblance to the man we’ve come to know from photographs and news clips.) In Mr. Redmayne’s wonderfully subtle interpretation, however, Stephen is often sweet, sometimes tender, an irrepressible genius with a sly sense of humor and a capacity for love that isn’t confined to a single woman, just as Jane’s isn’t confined to a single man. (x)

Redmayne received a Best Actor Oscar nomination for his performance as physicist Stephen Hawking, and has already won the Screen Actors Guild Award and a Golden Globe for “Theory of Everything.”
