Update: One more fanpic from 27th August posted by @jbaker72 on Twitter

J.K. Rowling posted the first set photo from Fantastic Beasts 2 to her personal Twitter account. It isn't the most exciting thing we've ever seen, but it lets Harry Potter fans know that the movie is indeed happening and that it is in good hands. The photo itself just features her chair from the set, but there is a little something noteworthy about the chair. Next to her name, we see an image of a Griffin, which is a creature that was discussed in the actual Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them book... (x) She tagged a handful of emoji – possibly teasing some of the beasts that could be appearing.

It looks like ‘Fantastic Beasts 2’ is filming Hogwarts scenes this week
Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them 2 is currently filming Hogwarts scenes. Thanks
to casting calls, interviews, and some good ol’ fashion theorizing over the past few months,
it’s become increasingly clear that Fantastic Beasts 2 will be bringing us back to Hogwarts.
Now, it looks like some filming for those scenes is underway. Last week a YouTube user
named Chipper, who describes himself as an “experienced Film and TV artist,” published a
video that claims to depict setup for Fantastic Beasts 2 scenes at Lacock Abbey. This is a
location used for scenes in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets as well as Half-Blood
Prince. - read more on hypable.com

TBT - Fan adventure in a flight to Toronto

therealchrissyhofbeck (x): #tbt b/c every August I have to re-post
my snuggle time with this cutie #oscarwinner #eddieredmayne who
was delightful and sweet (even to a crazy mom fan in the airport)!

She also wrote in a comment: " we were on the same JetBlue flight to Toronto
a couple years ago. It was a pretty empty flight & we talked for awhile, mostly
about him playing Jack in my favorite book of all time (#pillarsoftheearth).
Taking this selfie was a comedy routine in itself which is why by the end we
had our arms around each other cracking up. He was just terrific”

I asked Chrissie about when they met, she wrote, that it was around 2010-2011.
Based on Eddie's look I think maybe it was in 2010, when Eddie was in New York
playing Ken in Red on Broadway. I can only guess. Most likely he went up to
Toronto for a My Week With Marilyn screen test with Michelle Williams, who
was filming 'Take This Walz' there at the time. This may have been in August,
because filming started in July 2010. (Less likely, he travelled to TIFF in 2011)

What made me think this?

Eddie talked about how he became involved with the ‘My Week With Marilyn project: “I came across the project, I was actually in New York doing a play and I was sent the script, I had studied Art History at University, so I knew a bit about Kenneth Clark who was Colin Clark's dad, so I had heard about that sort of background and so that kind of spiked my curiosity as well and then read the script and realized I had a weird amount in common with this guy and got really engaged with it and then I auditioned for Simon and then Michelle was filming in Toronto, and went up there and we had a screen test there and from then on it was the most wonderful ride...”

Weasley is Eddie's king - Happy Birthday Rupert Grint

Eddie Redmayne on his favorite Harry Potter character

For Redmayne, Weasley is his king. “I was a Ron fan,” he revealed. “I thought Rupert
[Grint] was wonderful … even when he was really young he had the most expressive,
kind of elastic face.” (Their shared hair color, he added, might have helped too.)

Video: 'Fantastic Beasts' Cast Joins 'View' Table (Nov 2016)

Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol and Dan Fogler were guests on
ABC's morning entertaining program 'The View' last November. One of the presenters
of the show is none other, than Oscar winner Woopi Goldberg.

Woopi Goldberg:
The last time I think I saw you, we were on the red carpet at the Oscars a bit ago. That’s my Batman suit. I kinda look like Batman,…

Eddie Redmayne:
Very intense things those red carpets, aren’t they? …once you arrive at the ceremony, it feels like you sort of won an award in itself. It’s quite…

W.G.: Because people are just like: Eddie! Eddie! Eddie! Eddie!…

E.R.: Definitely it’s the case…

Video:
(Nov 2016)

"I met these extraordinary animal handlers, I liked totally weird idiosyncratic
things. I met this woman, who looks after rhinos, and she showed me this thing,
if you rub a rhino just beneath the knee on the back hind, like for about ten
minutes, they will just gently kind of...(he gives the impression of the movement)...
they just sort of gently sort of sit down. I thought it was so brilliant, but I couldn't
work out how to bring it into the movie..."
