Take A Seat at the Donmar Warehouse - new campaign video

The Donmar Warehouse is currently undergoing essential building works,
getting ready to reopen in September 2021. They shared a new video with
Eddie Redmayne in support of their new campaign. Eddie popped in to
see the work in progress at the Donmar and got behind the Take a Seat
campaign to help the theatre get back into shape by September. Take a look
at the video and find out what Eddie got up to on his visit to the theatre.

"For me, this theatre the Donmar is not only one of the greatest theatres in the world
but also the most intimate. You can literally hear the audience breathe and they can see
every bead of sweat. It genuinely feels like you're kind of in your living room with
your family, just like performing for them."

So how many seats there gonna be? About 250.

"When I was doing 'Red', there was a moment in the play where Alfred Molina
and I had to prime this massive canvas with bright red paint. I was coming to
work one day on the tube and this lady opposite me kind of tapped me on the
knee and she pointed to this massive red blotch of paint on her handbag and
she said 'you did this' and I went 'I'm so sorry!' and she said 'no-no, I kept it
as a souvenir from my night at the Donmar.' You only get that intimacy here."

"You guys too can be a part of the Donmar family and join me in helping
support this beautiful theatre as it emerges from the pandemic. All we need
now are some seats with your names on them... Thank You."

My blog turned 8 today.

I'm still here and I will be.

New project on the Horizon

Collider reported, that "Eddie Redmayne is attached to star in the untitled
Cambridge Analytica movie for Joe and Anthony Russo's company AGBO
Films, which is in talks with two-time Oscar-winner Peter Farrelly to direct.

A representative for AGBO had no comment.

Avengers: Endgame scribes Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely wrote
the script, and the project is financed and ready to go into production, though
just like last year when we reported that Matt Shakman was in talks to direct,
it's still anyone's guess as to when that will actually be. The project was
initially slated to be directed by David Gordon Green.

Redmayne is poised to play Christopher Wylie, the pink-haired data consultant
who hatched the idea of Cambridge Analytica, a data analytics firm that illegally
harvested the personal data of 87 million Facebook users in order to influence
Donald Trump's presidential victory and the Brexit vote. Wylie's guilty conscience
led him to become a whistleblower and tell his story, both in court and in the press,
and it was an article in The Guardian by Carole Cadwalladr that was acquired by
AGBO and serves as the catalyst for this project.

The Russo brothers are producing with their AGBO partner Mike Larocca, and
the Cambridge Analytica project represents an edgy departure for the company,
as well as screenwriters Markus and McFeely. 30WEST is executive producing
and shopping the Cambridge Analytica movie with AGBO, and several
distributors are said to have already expressed interest in the prestige project."

the real person Eddie is poised to play.
