The Secrets of Dumbledore cast Q&A with Tom Felton

 Cast members of Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore visited

the Harry Potter Warner Bros Studio Tour Tuesday 29th March 2022,

where they had a chat with Tom Felton and they answered fan questions.

Eddie Redmayne and Jude Law had a chat with Tom in Dumbledore's office.

Eddie on what Newt has learned from Dumbledore over the years: 

“I feel like sort of Dumbledore’s caught Newt out of his shell a little bit.

Newt’s someone that is most happy in his own company or the company

of creatures. He’s an introvert ...Gentle nudges and occasionally a shove...

Dumbledore’s kind of made him engage and entrusted him with stuff,

so he sort of I think in this film he sort of asks Newt to step up to being

a leader, and what I love is that Newt does it but in like most Newty

ways possible. Since he’s not quite sure how to be a leader but just

sort of vomited his way through it.”

An exclusive movie clip was shown in the live stream.

The cast has gathered next to the Hogwarts Express to answer fan questions.

Japan Premiere of Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore

The Cast and Director of FBTSOD promoted the film at the Japanese Premiere via Livestream today.

The protagonist Eddie Redmayne, Jude Law, Mads Mikkelsen, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol,

Jessica Williams, director David Yates joined the Japanese fans virtually for a special event

marking the release of the third Fantastic Beasts movie.

Warner Bros Japan streamed the event on YouTube.

The Live stream started at 17:45 JST (9:45 UTC) on March 28, 2022 (Monday).

"We're so so so excited to see you guys. We're so sorry we can't be there in person."

"One of the highlights of making these movies, certainly for me, has been getting to travel

to Japan. We know that you guys are some of the most avid Wizarding World fans

in the World. But we are thrilled - you are the first people we're speaking with - so..."

"...we are so thrilled to bring this new movie 'The Secrets of Dumbledore' to you guys,

and we are sending all our love."

Red was playing. Alfred Molina who was the above the title star of the
play was signing autographs in front of the theater as his limousine waited.
As I walked further along I saw Redmayne seemingly walking home 
from the theater alone carrying a well-worn suitcase that he was 
having trouble keeping closed. It was sort of fascinating to see an actor
who at the time of the play was thought of as not famous enough to merit

I already quoted from this interview in my earlier post. Scenes Eddie mentioned:
- Newt and Theseus chat, meanwhile Pickett getting drunk in a pub in London
- Leta's breakdown in the extension of the scene, where her history revealed
- The little bit with the baby Nifflers, which was ever so slightly more extended
- The scene when Tina and Leta save Newt and his case from the Matagots.
