New videos: 4 TV spots and 1 featurette - award nomination news - WGN Radio interview

‘The Danish Girl’ - four new TV spots from Focus Features (my screenshots below)

Critics Choice Award Nominations:
Eddie Redmayne and Alicia Vikander are nominated, together with Eve Stewart (production design),
Paco Delgado (costume design) and Jan Sewell (hair & make-up).


StLFCA announced this year’s nominations. Eddie Redmayne nominated in the Best Actor category for TDG
(other contenders are Leonardo Dicaprio, Ian McKellen, Matt Damon, Abraham Attah) 
and another double nom for Alicia Vikander for‘The Danish Girl’ and ‘Ex Machina’.
‘The Danish Girl’ got one more nomination in the Art Direction category (Grant Armstrong and Tom Weaving).

GoldDerby Box Office Report:
The Danish Girl does respectably, as it expands to 20 more screens in the U.S. By the end of the weekend, it was expected to have earned about $650,000 in three weeks (on a $15 million budget).
Among the holdovers, “The Danish Girl” did great business again in its third weekend with $259K at two dozen locations; that translates into a per screen average of just over $10K. Focus Features plans a slow roll out in the weeks to come.
