Written and directed by Academy Award winner Aaron Sorkin, The Trial of the
Chicago 7 stars Academy Award winner Eddie Redmayne as Tom Hayden,
Sacha Baron Cohen as Abbie Hoffman, Emmy Award winner Jeremy Strong
as Jerry Rubin, Academy Award winner Mark Rylance as defense attorney
William Kunstler, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt as lead prosecutor Richard Schultz.
David Dellinger is portrayed by John Carroll Lynch.
Eddie on the set with Caitlin Fitzgerald. She plays an undercover F.B.I. agent,
who tries to honey-trap Jerry Rubin (Jeremy Strong). (x)
The film also stars, Emmy Award winner Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Bobby Seale,
Frank Langella as Judge Julius Hoffman, Kelvin Harrison Jr. as Fred Hampton,
and Michael Keaton as former U.S. Attorney General Ramsey Clark.
The movie is now playing in select theaters in the US
and will be streaming on NETFLIX from 16th October.
Netflix will add more theaters in the U.S. and abroad throughout October,
expanding upon the film’s premiere on the service.
