My son surprised me today with a new Hungarian crossword-puzzle magazine
with Eddie on the cover. There's also a short introductory article about him.
Nothing about his work, only some basic life facts, and the horse-riding story.
Sadly, there are still a lot of people here who have no idea who he is.
He was represented in the Hungarian media very poorly. This will probably
change in the coming days thanks to the new Fantastic Beasts movie release
next month (14th April). I hope I find more articles about him.
I have to go to the city looking for new movie magazines.
Here's my translation of the article:
An English gentleman
Aristocratic-looking Eddie Redmayne has grown into one of the most
popular British movie stars over the years. His success is mainly due to
his talent, but it is also not to be overlooked that he is a charmingly
old-fashioned figure who embodies the type of well-educated English
gentleman in every way. He announced the birth of his daughter, Iris, first
in the well-established The Times magazine in 2016, and only then could
the gossip pages find out about the news. It is still difficult to hide from
the tabloid. Eyes were fixed on him already at the beginning of his career,
though he never got involved in scandals. On the other hand, he can
provide snobs with things like going to Eton College with Prince William
and then studying art history at Trinity College in Cambridge.
The papers were also reported that in a shoot, he almost smashed himself
on the back of a horse and nearly killed about forty Lithuanian stuntmen.
Because of the incident, later he enrolled in a riding camp where
he was taught to ride in two weeks.
