'The Pillars of the Earth' Episode 5 scenes in the official trailer

Welcome back dance with Aliena! Jack returns from Lincoln with Prior Philip.

Jack enjoys carving and testing the gargoyles

Jack's reaction to the announcement of Aliena's marriage to Alfred.

I think the characters Eddie Redmayne played in The Pillars of the Earth and the Fantastic
Beasts movies are similar in many ways. Jack Jackson and Newt Scamander are both talented,
passionate about their work and their loved ones, and uncomfortable in communication.

Newt was just as desperate when Graves took his creatures
from him in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

Happy Birthday Sam Claflin!

Sam Claflin Eddie Redmayne's friend and co-star today celebrates his 28th Birthday. For the occasion I choose
a few pictures and a video from 'The Pillars of the Earth' and a 'Company Magazine UK' article about them.

Elle: Who do you compare yourself to?

Sam: I can't help but compare myself to Eddie Redmayne. I was actually up for "My Week with Marilyn", but when I saw the script, I just knew, he was right for it. My first job ever was with Eddie in "The Pillars of the Earth" and I’ve witnessed him grow as an actor – he looks so at home, it all seems to come very easily to him. He’s friendly with Andrew Garfield and Robert Pattinson and he’s the next one of their group to come through….
