Open casting for Theory of Everything movie in Cambridge

I recommend this news for those who live near Cambridge, and want to be included in the movie.
The production team is now seeking people to star as extras during shooting in Cambridge in September.
An open casting will take place tomorrow between 10am and 4pm at The Arts School Lecture Theatre in Benet Street. No experience is necessary.

About the production:
EddieRedmayne to Play Young Stephen Hawking in 'The Theory of Everything'
British actor Eddie Redmayne will soon be tacking his most challenging role to date in the true-life story of one of the world's most influential scientists.
Redmayne will be playing famed physicist Stephen Hawking in the upcoming biopic "The Theory of Everything," which is expected to focus on Hawking's life in the mid-1960s, according to Deadline. Working Title, the British production company that also brought "Les Miserables" to the big screen, are behind the project.
Beyond his skills as an actor, Redmayne seems an ideal choice to play Hawking – he looks youthful enough to be convincing as a young man of college age, and pictures of Hawking in his days at Oxford and Cambridge prove the actor bears a genuine resemblance to the physicist in his youth.

Hawking is the new documentary about the celebrated physicist Stephen Hawking, author of A Brief History of Time. Hawking's story, from his early days as a student through his battle with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, to his status as a bestselling author, is narrated by the man himself.
Hawking is released in the UK on 20 September.

Something about me
In 1980, when I went to University, the movie "Victory" starring Sylvester Stallone, Michael Caine, Pelé and Max von Sydow was filmed in Budapest. Much of the film takes place in a football match. I took part in the filming as an extra. I was a viewer in the stadium. I spent three days on the set. Unfortunately, when I watched the movie, I have not managed to find myself in the crowd.

Update: November 8, 2013:
Article in The Cambridge Student by Ruairi O'Donoghue:
Cambridge University hits international cinema screens
Next year’s box office is set to be a significant one for the University of Cambridge, as three films will be released about Cambridge academics. How to Make Love like an Englishman, starring Pierce Brosnan, is a largely fictional account of a generic Cambridge poetry professor. The Imitation Game and The Theory of Everything are biopics of real Cambridge dons, Alan Turing and Stephen Hawking respectively.
Over the summer students were able to audition as extras for the film The Theory of Everything, starring Eddie Redmayne. Universal Extras held the open auditions in August at the Art School Lecture Theatre.

Like Minds - One Direction connection

Louis Tomlinson appeared for a short time in the film. He was one of the school students who were waiting for a hearing of the detective after Susan's body was found near the school.

Eddie was asked about this at the Teenage Cancer Trust afterparty
at the Groucho Club in 10 April 2013.
He didn't realise Louis was even in the 2006 film with him.
He said: "I know One Direction but I don’t know the individual members. I had no idea he was in a film with me when he was a child, I feel really old now!

“I’m pretty sure all the fans will probably watch it and be annoyed that I’m taking up all the screen time.

“I’ve never met One Direction but it’s good to know I have this unbreakable bond with one of them now."

The reporter asked if he would ever duet with One Direction.
Laughing at that suggestion, he told: "An Eddie Redmayne and One Direction duet? What singing A Heart Full Of Love [a Les Mis ballad]? I don’t think anyone wants me to ruin what they’ve got going for them. I think I’d definitely cramp their style, I’m not quite teenage girl boy band pin-up material!"

Eddie met Louis at the Vanity Fair Oscars Afterparty
24 February 2013.

Eddie Redmayne quote
"I have this horrific thing where I'm really bad with names and faces. I have anappalling memory. Someone will come up to me in the street and go, 'Eddie!',and I'll try and give myself time by going into overdrive, 'Hey, hi! Nice to see you!' and start a whole conversation because I can't distinguish between who I know and who I don't."

Bradley Cooper and Eddie

They met in several events of the awards season.
Based on the pictures and the video, I think that they became good friends.

When he's not miserable - smiles in films

He cries and suffers much in movies but sometimes we can see him like this too :)

Theory Of Everything - Felicity Jones

Felicity Jones has been looking into black holes as she prepares to portray the first wife of famed cosmologist Stephen Hawking.
The film, which stars Eddie Redmayne as Hawking, is based on Travelling To Infinity, the second volume of memoirs Jane Hawking wrote about her life with the famous professor.
Redmayne has turned down a major part in director Thomas Vinterburg’s new version of Far From The Madding Crowd to devote all his energies to portraying Hawking.
‘It stops before their break-up,’ Felicity said of Theory Of Everything, which James Marsh will direct on location in and around Cambridge in September.
‘The film’s about the early years of their relationship, and her faith — that’s what helped her,’ Felicity added, referring to Jane’s religious beliefs, and Hawking’s atheism."

Eddie already knows Felicity. They both played in the productions of the Donmar Warehouse (though not together). The Telegraph magazine in June 2011 published an article where Michael Grandage announced to leave the theater. They appear together alongside Michael Grandage and Jude Law in the photo made to the newspaper article.

Here you can read the article:

P.S.: He wore a denim jacket, the camel pants and his favorite old shoes in this picture.

They both took part in The Josephine Hart Poetry Week in 12th October, 2012.

Something about Felicity:
She won several film awards for her performance in the movie Like Crazy.
Nominated Best Newcomer at the 2008 Evening Standard Theatre Awards for The Chalk Garden at the Donmar Warehouse.

Jones performed in Luise Miller, a new translation of Schiller's Kabale und Liebe by Mike Poulton at the Donmar Warehouse theatre in London, in June and July 2011.[13] She turned down the title role in Mirror Mirror to appear in the play, to the amazement of director Michael Grandage. Grandage acknowledged: "Everything else has had to be moved to accommodate [the play]… at a time when her career has gone sky-high."[2]

Message to Eddie's fans:
Look Eddie's IMDB page every day. We have to improve his rank :)
I always watch whether there's any news.

Eddie's favorites clothes

In my previous post I wrote about Eddie's denim suit. This topic attracted my interest, so I did some research. Let me show you some cloth what he wore more than once. Some of his favorites: the blue and the camel pants, the All Saints jacket, the short black coat and the brown leather jacket.
