Eddie visited the Royal Ballet School on Tuesday

Students Liam Boswell and Brigid Walker interviewed him in front of an audience
of students and staff. Eddie explained how he got into acting through his love for music
and described his first experiences of working in film as a young actor. He offered the
students his words of wisdom on coping with nerves and how to deal with criticism.
He also talked about some of the challenges he himself has faced along the way.

He said: ‘For us all [dancers and actors] the enjoyment is the journey.
Enjoying the aspiration for perfection.’

He also described working with dancers in preparation for his role playing
Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything. He said: ‘I knew it was
going to be a physical part. It’s so interesting; you think of dance as
one thing, and acting as another, but all of these things merge.’

The students asked Eddie about his favourite ballet and he said that seeing
Tamara Rojo and Carlos Acosta dancing in Manon at the Royal Opera House
was ‘one of the most extraordinary nights of my life’. He said: ‘Interestingly
one of the reasons was it was so well acted.’

At the end of the talk Eddie paid tribute to the students. He said:
‘I have such admiration for what you do. It’s a formidable thing,
it’s a painful thing, it’s a beautiful thing, and it’s the stuff that
dreams are made of. Just keep being brilliant.’ (source)

Planet Omega opening in Shanghai on 26th April 2019

At the Power Station of Art in Shanghai, the Planet OMEGA exhibition
displays all of the histories, passions and watches that set OMEGA apart.
Omega ambassador Eddie Redmayne was there to officially open the doors.

“In just four years with OMEGA, I’ve been so impressed by the diversity of the brand. Their
qualities of style, reliability and precision have had such a wide-ranging importance throughout
the world. It’s great to see everything come together in one exhibition. As an actor, I love
stories and OMEGA certainly has many extraordinary stories to tell.” (via Lifestyle Asia)

Backed by a colorful stage setting, Eddie Redmayne proudly stood on stage
with OMEGA President and CEO, Raynald Aeschlimann. Together, they
welcomed the exhibition’s first guests and spoke together about the many
highlights of the OMEGA brand, which extend all the way back to 1848.
Read the full story on the official Omega website here.

Eddie was among the first to experience the expansive new exhibition.

Q.. What classic movie cast would you like to see singing?

In a Les Miserables interview Eddie Redmayne was asked about, what other classic
movie cast would he like to see stop what they’re doing and start singing?

“Do you know who’s got an incredibly husky and quite brilliant voice? I did a film
a few years ago with Scarlett Johansson, and I’ve had moments of karaoke with her.
And I think Tom Hiddleston has got a decent voice, has some serious pipes on him
as well. So maybe like The Avengers. I even hear Jeremy Renner may have like a
great singing voice. So, I mean, maybe The Avengers...” - Eddie Redmayne

My favorites are Robert Downey Jr.(Iron Man), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow),
Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Gwyneth Paltrow (Pepper Potts).

In a new video from The Tonight Show the cast of Avengers: Endgame

'The Pillars of the Earth' Episode 5 scenes in the official trailer

Welcome back dance with Aliena! Jack returns from Lincoln with Prior Philip.

Jack enjoys carving and testing the gargoyles

Jack's reaction to the announcement of Aliena's marriage to Alfred.

I think the characters Eddie Redmayne played in The Pillars of the Earth and the Fantastic
Beasts movies are similar in many ways. Jack Jackson and Newt Scamander are both talented,
passionate about their work and their loved ones, and uncomfortable in communication.

Newt was just as desperate when Graves took his creatures
from him in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
