In a new video Eddie Redmayne reads his favorite passage from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s
Stone as part of the 20th anniversary celebration of the release of the book in the United States.
Personal: I read the first book, when everyone in my little daughter's class got a copy
at the end of the school year in 2000. We read from the book aloud in the car while
travelling to our holiday. This is one of my favorite books too, I read it multiple times.
Another exciting news: Audible will release an audiobook, that goes behind the scenes of the
Fantastic Beasts films, with interviews with Eddie Redmayne, Jude Law, Katherine Waterson,
Alison Sudol, Zoë Kravitz, Ezra Miller and Claudia Kim, as well as with crew members such as
director David Yates, producer David Heyman and production designer Stuart Craig. It will be
released on 16th November to coincide with the film and is available for pre-order on Audible.
The audiobook is narrated by Dan Fogler, who said: “This whole experience has been an adventure
for me and I’m really excited for fans to come along for the ride! We made an exclusive, all-access
audiobook that takes you to places that no microphone has been before. If you’ve ever wanted to
know what it takes to make not just an epic movie but one set in the Wizarding World, this is a
must-listen! It covers everything from props, costumes, and acting ... to wands and Nifflers.
I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we’ve enjoyed making it.” (via)
