Daily Mail article: Going on a belated honeymoon? Newlyweds Eddie Redmayne and Hannah Bagshawe board flight out of London in first sighting since nuptials
Errors: They were seen in public at Assassins, in which Eddie’s former co-star Aaron Tveit stars, the same week as their wedding. And they’re not on a belated honeymoon but headed to California for the Palm Springs film festival and the Golden Globes on Jan.11, plus more heavy promotion for The Theory of Everything. Just Jared: Newlyweds Eddie Redmayne & Hannah Bagashwe Start 2015 With Belated Honeymoon!
The author forgot about the Palm Springs International Film Festival too. Eddie attends two events today, a screening of 'The Theory of Everything' followed by a conversation and the Awards Gala, where he collects the Best Actor award.

Eddie's program at the Palm Springs International Film Festival:
Saturday Jan.3, 2015

9:00 AM PST Annenberg Auditorium: Talking Pictures - The Theory of Everything
Screening followed by a conversation with fast-rising star Eddie Redmayne, who joins a renowned film journalist on stage to discuss his acclaimed performance in the hit film, along with his award-winning work in the theatre and in such films as My Week With Marilyn and Les Misérables.

6:00 PM PST Palm Springs Convention Center: Black Tie Awards Gala
The spectacular event at the (the kick off the 2014 awards season)—presented by Cartier—turns the desert oasis into the center of the galaxy, drawing the biggest actors and actresses, celebrity filmmakers, media, industry professionals, and film fans from all over the world. And for a
good cause: The Awards Gala raises more than $1 million in funding for
the Palm Springs International Film Society.
Eddie Redmayne, Julianne Moore, Alejandro González Iñárritu, Reese Witherspoon, Rosamund Pike, David Oyelowo, J.K. Simmons, Robert Duvall, Richard Linklater, Benedict Cumberbatch, Kiera Knightley, and Matthew Goode will be among the Oscar contenders who will be on the Awards Gala stage.

Eddie Redmayne may well have proven the theory that one actor really can do everything. He’s a genius cosmologist. A wistful romantic. A man whose ideas cannot be contained to the known world, and whose body (though it revolts against him) cannot contain his ideas. In a startling act of transformation, Redmayne presents the improbable story of Stephen Hawking and his first wife Jane Hawking (played wonderfully
by Felicity Jones) in James Marsh’s The Theory of Everything. As Hawking defied all expectations of a man who suffers from motor neuron disease, Desert Palm Achievement Award honoree Redmayne defied all expectations of what an actor can do with his body—training himself with a choreographer, movement specialist and osteopath to depict Hawking’s physical deterioration and complete lack of muscle control even as his revolutionary ideas about the universe truly began to flourish. (x)
