'Fantastic Beasts' filming starts this week - new cast members - set building report

Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Ezra Miller and Alison Sudol are starring in the Warner Bros. film.
Colin Farrell is ready to cast a spell. The Irish actor has joined the cast of Warner Bros.' Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, which will star Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Ezra Miller and Alison Sudol. Farrell will play Graves, a wizard that Newt Scamander (Redmayne) meets in New York....
Farrell is currently starring on HBO’s second season of True Detective. His latest film, Yargos Lanthimos' The Lobster, premiered to critical acclaim at the Cannes Film Festival in May, and won the Jury Prize at the festival. Centering on a world where people must find a mate in 45 days or be turned into an animal for the rest of their lives, The Lobster also starred Rachel Weisz and John C. Reilly. Farrell, whose previous credits include Saving Mr. Banks, Horrible Bosses and Seven Psychopaths, has also shot thriller Solace, opposite Anthony Hopkins. He's repped by CAA, LBI Entertainment and attorney Steve Warren.
(Ezra Miller's casting however doesn't confirmed yet.)
Now we have our Modesty as well!

The 10-year-old actress will play Modesty, who is described as a “haunted” character with an “inner strength and stillness.” Perhaps with a little bit of magic and luck, the character “has an ability to see deep into people and understand them.” This role is particularly special because ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’ producers held an open casting call last month to find a girl who could take on the part. We recently reported that over 10,000 young actors turned out to audition for the role. Wood-Blagrove hasn’t appeared in a movie before, so Modesty could be a huge girl for the young aspiring actress.

If you are interested in auditioning for a role on ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’:
Due to the popularity of Harry Potter , producers have kept a tight lid on extra casting call opportunity as well as speaking role opportunities. However, according to IMDB, the principal casting director for ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is Fiona Weir of Fiona Weir Casting. She is also the casting director behind Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows Part 1 and Part 2. (x)

Following a supporting turn in Fox Searchlight’s upcoming awards contender “Brooklyn” Irish actress Jenn Murray has booked a key role in Warner Bros.’ adaptation of J.K. Rowling’s “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them,” TheWrap has learned.
Katherine Waterston and Alison Sudol will co-star as sisters alongside Ezra Miller and Dan Fogler. Murray is expected to share scenes with Miller’s character, who’s a rival of sorts to Newt Scamander. Colin Farrell will also co-star as a wizard named Graves, while 10-year-old Faith Wood-Blagrove was recently announced as the winner of a global casting call to play a character named Modesty.
