“As soon as the film was announced, everyone in Hollywood started saying, ‘Oh, I love Les Mis,’ ” Redmayne says. “But I swear, I really have loved it since my parents took me to see it when I was seven. I remember being so jealous of the boy playing Gavroche—I wanted to be him so badly, and I think that was the moment I caught the acting bug.”
