Ever wondered how some musicals make it on to the London stage? In our latest short film Life's A Pitch, Eddie Redmayne, Jane Horrocks, Rory Kinnear and Hattie Morahan pitch some awfully unusual musical ideas to our very own artistic director, David Lan.
Written by The Thick of It's Olivia Poulet, directed by Natalie Abrahami and featuring some very special Young Vic supporters.

He looked so good when this was filmed (I think this summer), he wasn't as thin as now. I haven't seen him in a comedic piece yet. He's making fun at himself, and he pulls it off so well. In the end when he's trying not to laugh he's so cute.

Update 17th April, 2014:The Guardian’s a bit late to the party, but you can vote for Eddie Redmayne’s Manny the Musical
EDDIE REDMAYNE'S EDGY MARY POPPINS AND OTHER SPOOF MUSICALS (x)
Rory Kinnear wants to bend it like Beckham and Hattie Morahan pitches a Hackney version of A Doll’s House … which of the Young Vic’s make-believe musicals gets your vote?
